So Substack, so stunning, so Trying New Things core

aka. my first post!!

Hi loves of my life (if you’re reading this, we’re in love fyi)!!
So, to catch you up on my life until this point, my name is Elle, hence the legally blonde reference in my username. I love journalling, singing, reading pretentious books for the sake of it, Maisie Peters and Dead Poet’s Society. I just recently turned 19 (Leo babies on top) and I’m kind of having an identity crisis. Ok, it's more like a full-blown, hard-core, unavoidable identity crisis…
Who am I? What do I believe in? What do I like? Who do I want to be? HOW DO I GET THERE???
To answer the questions above, I’m doing a bit of soul-searching. A bit of adventuring. A bit of trying new things, if you will. And that’s led me here. Because I love writing. I remember being seven and wanting to write a book - which is totally still a goal. By looking around me for inspiration, I’ve seen so many brilliant women in my life going after what they want, for example, my bestie who’s off in Aussie to become a famous dancer, or the girl in my creative writing class last sem who’s already a substack legend (I want to be you xoxo). I guess I’ve just come to the realisation that if I ever want to live a life that I’m happy with, I have to start doing things that… make me happy?
So here I am. Here we are. Hopefully, you’ll stick around. Hopefully, this substack will make me rich and famous.
